Work Samples

I’m practiced in creating drawings, paintings, prints, collages, and graphic designs working with a variety of subjects, media, and processes. I’ve taught beginning, intermediate, and advanced drawing, painting, and 2D design classes and beginning and intermediate pottery classes (sculptural, functional, hand-built, and wheel-thrown forms). My studies and creative production include work with textiles, metal, wood, glass, and digital media. Current work focuses on multimedia design using sustainable materials and processes. Practices include direct observation, documentation, research, cultivation, foraging, analog and digital drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, collage, and interactive presentations with flora (plants, fungi, algae). I tend to produce work in series over extended periods of time, responding to botanical, ecological, and creative cycles.
